It's because at first they thought mr. Jun was like Taeho, a special person who wasn't affected by the curse. But turns out he isn't affected because he is related to Wooyeon.
So he is not special, just a dick and a liar. I mean, they knew each other for years and he never bothered to mention that?!
Also it might explain a little why he hates Wooyeon so much if his mom had some issue with the rest of the family.
