I think everyone's misunderstanding the ex's intention. From the flashbacks we only saw the Uke's perspective but imagine the ex's viewpoint. The ex had a one sided relationship, because he knew the Uke felt guilty and afraid of being gay and being with the ex. Imagine how'd you feel to have a relationship where you're giving it your all but your lover is uncertain of your relationship. That's what drove the ex to be a bit forceful. Also, the ex's feelings for the Uke aren't really true he's more saying if your feelings for him at true you won't treat him the same way you treated me. The ex is a douche but he's pushing the Uke in the right direction. Otherwise the Uke would be cowardly forever and their relationship would be doomed

I don't agree that he's doing this "for the uke", he's pretty obviously got some lingering attachment, he still wants the uke. Didn't he just go in for a kiss? He is trying to place doubts in his head about Shun. He knows the uke is out now, so if they got together, maybe he thinks it'd work out now? As far as their past, as i said in my other reply to you, outing him wasn't the right course of action and there isn't anything that can justify it. If he couldn't just be patient and handle his relationship with his "in the closet" boyfriend that HE chose HIMSELF to be with, he should've broken up with him instead of trying to force things to progress. He should've found someone already "out" instead. He clearly couldn't handle a relationship with someone who is in the closet. Again, his actions could've literally destroyed a family, he could've been disowned. Asia is strict.

You can't force people to do things your way. Some take more time in agreement with what they are and also society. He got in a relationship with him knowing that he was in the closet and it's not up to him to reveal that to the whole world. He doesn't know how those around him would react. If he felt bad about their relationship, he should make him understand in another way or leave him. Imagine if his father had a heart attack or threw him out. The story with Shun doesn't concern his ex. Shun knows the kind of relationship he will have with Aki and didn't ask the ex's opinion nor help.
