I'm pretty sure it's happening at the current time because before in the flashback they talked about ensuring the existence of those titans that need royal blood. And the only people left who have royal blood are Zeke and Historia.

Is that a PREGNANT HISTORIA I SEE THERE? WHO IS THE FATHER? Is this supposed to be the future of Historia after the war passes and she's looking on to the horizon maybe in sad remembrance? Or is this supposed to by some strange twist, be a Historia from a different time period? Maybe set 100 years or so in the future?
