It will be an unpopular opinion, but by the end of this I lost interest in the "main couple". There pairing seemed quite shallow, and was just smut scenes. Also there was quite a lot of hypocrisy when it came to the topic of murder. Seolwoo, is in prison, a broken lonely man, facing justice after killing tens? of people motivated by the love of his detective. Whereas the vampire has killed thousands, leaving centuries of heartbroken families who had murdered relatives whose bodies were never recovered. The devil too, has a disdain for humans, has murdered them himself, and he murdered the detective, motivated by physical dependency on the vampire character. At least the detective and Seolwoo's relationship seemed more complex and authentic, rather than simply having to stick together because they are reliant on each other for food, with any feelings of love coming later like the vampire & devil.
