True. I agree. My grandma died after suffering for a year after her stroke. We wanted her to rest bec we clearly saw her having difficulty and the will to live just aint there anymore. Even though we struggled financially to support her needs we never wanted her to die out of selfishness. But dude, the blonde chick is selfish af. She'll regret that when he really dies

My childhood friend and friend up to his death also died of cancer and towards the end he said he really wish he could just die and give his parents peace and that he was tired of fighting a losing battle. So I guess it is not the same for everyone. After my stroke and brain operations at some point when I saw how badly it affects the people around me I also thought "maybe they could just stop caring then everyone would be more happy without me". But I get the point you are trying to make, but also that everyone has their own feelings towards something and some empathize with miss Doh and others sympathize with the dad.

More than that, it also left me wondering why we are assuming her dad was a good person/father to her. It could very well be that she actually watched after him out of a sense of responsibility and guilt, instead of simply "love". I obviously wouldn't wish for the death of anyone, let alone my father, even if he was bad to me, but it's something we also have to take into consideration here. Imagine having to look after someone who would not do the same for you, and more: you know that person is never getting better, and instead is just make you both suffer by slowly dying without anyone being able to help.
Well, still, I hate the blondie and think it's wrong of her to wish for her father's death.
To all the people who said they understand the blonde and feel bad for her....wow All i can say is i lost my father to cancer and at no point no matter how hard it gotten i would never wish for his death.
