I agree. What the seme does, is not grooming and the problem lies in his possessiveness which is so strong (?) that it’s pathological. This seme actually cares about this uke, as it was proven by them growing up together. He always was there for him as the uke described during the opening. The seme making a move towards having sex, is no different than any other school life story. He started having sex with a virgin, that didn't know they wanted to have sex. Do you see any objection that the uke has? He isn't training him to have sex, they are just having sex. I may have dropped out of psychology classes, but I did pick up a lot. Compare and contrast. BTW didn't see anyone complaining in these stories about this. And this is actual grooming, and the author had no problem hiding it.
