Yep, he's pretty self absorbed at times. He knows his "crush" is an a relationship, but can't hold his tongue and move on, accepting that we can't always get who or what we want, him "confessing" to the person he thought on the crush was just rude and inappropriate given he has a partner, they aren't kids at school anymore. He never really verbally apologises for being a cheeky prick to Lihaun either, or at least we as readers never saw this, he also always dismisses Lihaun, and Lihaun's obvious affection towards him. I guess this series is going to be a long one, so such character development is going to be drawn out, but let's just say Lihaun has the patience of a saint.

When did LiHuan told YuYang he likes him though? Because as far as I remember the only time he asked him directly, LH answered “I don’t know” after kissing a drunk YY without consent. People are acting as if YY is hurting LH on purpose or something when he isn’t at all. He already apologized to LH for all the cruel words he said when he was drunk. Yeah, he’s pretty oblivious to LH’s feelings so I get why people can get annoyed by that and I know he should move on already but come on, cut him some slack, every person is different and handles things differently. He talked about it with LH because he trusts him and considers him a friend, YY still thinks LH is straight and that’s why he can’t realize the true meaning behind LH’s gestures of affection. He knows LH is very kind and gentle, that’s why he wondered why didn’t he have a girlfriend, because in his mind, LH is straight. Neither of them is perfect, both have flaws so it does kind of annoy me when people act as if LH is perfect because guess what? He isn’t.
