I think it sad, because in yaoi mangas they show it in light way, like, she's a woman so let's make her the enemy and blah blah blah. But in reality, it's so pitiful to see a young girl trying to 'achieve' the boy she apparently likes. I know some people like that, and to see it from a far, is very pitiful.
