I want more!!

I cannot like the ending. It's just too sudden that it's not memorable enough. I feel like a couple more pages could have make the ending a memorable one. Like even if it was sad like this, a couple more pages to wrap it up would have leave a long lasting bittersweet aftertaste.

For example, I would have liked to know a little future peek of how and what masataka felt and think in regards to whatever the outcome of souma may be.

Why should Masataka have to give a thought to his rapist?

Whether you hate it or deny it. Masataka did give a thought about his rapist that's why he returned to his rapist house even when he had the chance to never come back. So what's wrong with wanting to know his thouhts, be it joy or pain, to the outcome of his rapist at the end. He could be happy that his rapist finally died for all I care. But, since the author's wanted it to be some sorts of emotional attachments between the two, then I am not wrong to want a closure to this "attachment".

If you go back to their first meeting, they were both attracted. In the library scene in the first part, Masataka was clearly 'happy' (euphemism ) Masataka wouldn't have had any issues with leaving Souma if there weren't any genuine affection between them. Masataka just didn't know how deeply messed up Souma was until he started pulling his s**t on Masataka. Clearly, that first *bad* scene was from Souma's point of view --because he was trapped in the past and in his head. He was surrounded by Lady Saiki's beloved sakuras, still stuck in little boy in young man's body mode and couldn't find a decent way to get out of his own head, so he snapped, and unfortunately, Masataka, who has his own issues and doesn't see himself as ANYONE's lover because of his own trauma, had been bonding with Souma in what he viewed as brotherly, while Souma, not understanding the concept of brotherly love, only eros, snapped. ..Quite frankly, I'm surprised that he hadn't snapped harder, earlier. God, I love this manga. :)
