When I was 10 years old, I had not yet cut myself. I am me now, older, and I have. I am the same “me”, but my actions and experiences from when I was 10 are drastically different. Who I am is drastically different. I am not 10-year old me.
This is the same with Sangwoo. Adult Sangwoo is not child Sangwoo, but he’s stuck there. Yes, he’s a war veteran, and yeah, he grew up with a shitty family. But guess what? A lot of us have; a lot of people have, and we don’t all go off killing random people. Sangwoo when he was younger was a pitiful boy that I can sympathise with, and he had not yet killed anybody. A lot of people grow up around violence. That’s not a reason to kill, and you don’t have to sympathise with a murderer, no matter any of their circumstances. Sangwoo is a murderer with a bad past. You can sympathise with him, there’s nothing wrong with that cuz he’s fake, but I do not, and nothing will change that. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
