I thumbed up because I absolutely agree with getting authorities involved when domestic and or any kind of abuse is happening in families. But I'd like to point out that not all victims of abuse turn out to be killers, like in example to Sangwoo. Sure maybe if Sangwoo had a better childhood and parent he wouldn't be so angry or kill/hurt people. However, parents abusive or not, do not tell the child to commit murder. So i think some mental health factors are also in the works along with parental issues (such as the parental negligence) they have. But also Sangwoo did commit major crimes so i think he does indeed need legal punishment but also needs institutionalized help. But I agree with this in some ways but I just wanted to respectfully point this out.

It hasn't shown Sangwoo to have any mental health issues while as it has shown his past was traumatic for him. It went out of the way to show that Bum has BPD, but nothing for Sangwoo. It also hasn't shown him exhibiting any signs when he was young either, like killing small things, disassociating, etc. So far i'd say it was definitely implied Sangwoo BECAME a killer rather than that he was already one and while you point out that child abuse doesn't always lead to becoming a killer, i'd argue that that is neither here nor there as it looks like Sangwoo is one of the cases where it did. Also, i haven't done the research, but i bet there are some statistics you could find about killers being disproportionately abused as children.

Sorry, if I didn't express my opinion well, but I did not mean to imply that Sangwoo was a born killer. I have no doubt he became one because of his past childhood . But as you have said, CLEARLY, that IN THIS CASE Sangwoo did become a killer, I have said that not all persons who are victims of child abuse become killers. And I was POINTING this out because the comment said "This is the product of child negligence," and um no i don't believe child negligence is all there is for someone to start killing people, I felt kind of offended at that because that doesn't mean I'm a fucked up guy like Sangwoo just because my parents didn't 'love me enough'. Sorry but it sounds like you can excuse his actions because he had a shitty childhood. Just as I cannot excuse the actions of rapists, serial killers, abusers of any kind just because of their past and as you are correct, you can find that most people who are abusers(etc) are also victims. And Sangwoo's childhood is shitty and it did fuck him up since he seems to exhibit signs of PTSD as an adult and kills people as an adult. But I really didn't mean to imply people being born as killers or any othe like. So I am sorry if I did not convey my opinion properly.

That sounds like you read into what was said and got offended on your own. They were simply pointing out that the cause of Sangwoo (you're on the "killing Stalking" comments section and Sangwoo was mentioned by name) going insane was most likely his childhood. I think you're also misplacing information, the actual cause of him killing is his insanity, what was said here is that the cause of his INSANITY was his childhood, albeit in different words.
This is why some people shouldn't have kids. Sangwoo's parents fucked him over badly. If you cannot protect your kids from abuse get the authorities involved. Give the kid a chance. If you cannot deal with your own demons and project it onto others, get help. You have no business having offspring. This is the product of parental negligence, not loving him enough to put him first. That's why Sangwoo can't fathom that step mom would put the kid first because no one did him. He needs serious help not jail. He needs to be institutionalized. This is a vicious his parents created.
