Although I agree with some of your points, I have to disagree with the fact that you said Jiwon wasn’t being honest. He made a deal with DG at the very beginning telling him that they’ll be sex partners but nothing more and that DG shouldn’t expect a relationship to form between them. DG agreed to this arrangement fully knowing what he was getting into. Yes Jiwon is using DG, but DG knows this already, but I do agree with you that if Alex is having a no strings attached relationship with DG he has no right to be jealous of DG with another man and that he is using the fact that DG is in love with him and a pushover to get the best outcome of this deal for himself.
He's not being honest because he didn't tell him everything in regards to the reason why he was sleeping with him. He said he needed material not that he couldn't get it up. He did lie and he's lying to himself. Jiwon is at fault because he actually thinks that being with an inexperienced fanboy, that DG was going to not form feelings for him. He knows DG likes him, he's going along with it because he doesn't want to ruin his show. So, he is lying and misleading someone who is passive. It's just as much his fault as it is DG's.
I see a lot of people getting upset at just DG or just Jiwon. They are both at fault for this situation.
Jiwon has feelings for DG and he is still using DG. People are saying Jiwon is being honest. No he's not. He never told DG his intention of sleeping with him. His actions do not reflect what he's saying. Being jealous over someone you not in a relationship with? He's lying to himself. The only reason why he "set" his boundaries is to throw it back in DG's face when DG tells him off or confesses with him. He knows DG has feelings for him and honestly, Jiwon doesn't want to end it because he knows he needs DG in order for his show to continue to be successful. He knows that DG is a pushover, and inexperienced. Like Chanwoo stated, he's selfish.
DG is passive and inexperienced. We can say that he doesn't know anything about Jiwon to say that he's in love but you can tell that he does have some feelings for him. It's been established since chapter 1 that DG isn't assertive. Everyone pushes him over and he lived a sheltered life. Pretty sure the story is centered around him growing a backbone and actually standing up for himself and saying what he wants. He's afraid that he's going to lose him. I mean, most people have been like this (well not in this extreme case) but afraid to say something to a person you care about because you're afraid of losing them. Eventually, seeing how chapter 38 ended, he's gonna get the "liquid courage" and say something, maybe tell Jiwon off and leave him. He starting to feel that Jiwon is using him. Whiich is the step in the right direction.
They are both cowards...equally to blame for this fuck shit that's going on now.
