I don't know about the anime, but in the manga, the page where they introduce the two mecha is colored, and Jilbatiga is silver there. Goldleo is the gold one

I'm pretty sure "jilbatiga" is supposed to be silver tiger. They always pronounce tiger as "tiga" and jilba sounds really close to the "silva" japanese say in their japenglish. Not to mention that it fits right into the naming/colortheme.
