Let's take examples : I don't follow BJ Alex here because I know the scans are from Lezhin, same as my Starry Sky, I dropped stories like Paramour when it got aquired by Lezhin, I stopped reading Lovely Again Today as soon as I learned that it was published on Webtoons and so on. Does that make me an example or better ? No, and I never claimed I was.

What I however complains about is the disrespect of simple rules, whether it's a scanlating team or an official publisher (ie renta or sublime).
Like what happens in this manga for example, people taking official translation that people worked on, that existed so the author would get money thanks to english speaking fan, and published them here.
Like I said I've been reading for years and do you know what those sites used to be about and what scanlation were for ? To make people unable to understand japanese discover and enjoy work in hope to push people to support authors when the access and opportunity was given to them. Hence why many scanlation group drop a project once it's licensed, it's not necessarily by fear but by respect, support for the author, and the fact that their goal was reached : the story is accessible and support possible.
At the end of the day we all know we're not helping the authors. I'm just in the optic that if you can help the author do it, if you can't at least don't put obstacles on their roads when they finally get an english release. Do you steal all the thing you can't afford because you want them and they're at your reach ? I don't think so.
And I never blamed scanlations or illegally reading did I ? I'm thankful to scanlation groups for allowing us to discover so many titles non accessible to people non fluent in japanese.
Hence why I respect them (and would never breach their rules unlike some shithead people)

Oh well, I am here beacuse I myself read mangas by scan groups that were NOT LICENCED YET..... But I have enough respect for the authors, that when the work is licensed, I go and buy the licensed copy...
About your conditions
1st...I never shamed anyone for reading manga here that IS NOT LICENSED l, nor for not buying the japanese/chinese/korean raws. I understand that you would not want to buy stories that you can't understand and you don't need to do that..... I'm saying that you should respect the author and When the manga IS LICENCED IN ENGLISH go and support them..... about the selection. Renta nad other legal sites are constantly expanding their reach. Renta licensed over 20 mangas in the past 3 months...
2nd .... Renta sells manga IN DIGITAL FORM!! No taxes, shipping or space needed. You don't even need space in your device. The mangas you buy will be stored in your account's library.... and because I need to explain you these things, I can see you've never even tried or have been interested in purchasing manga on legal sites 'cause you'd know these things.
Come on, it's the 21st century. Your conditions are totally ignorant and stupid 'cause the 1st one is being worked on and the 2nd was never the issue.The profit would be soo much higer if it weren't for readers like you and the "heroes" who read and upload licenced manga to illegal sites...
Would buy this and that if I had that kind of money to do so. Unfortunately, I gotta stick to what doesn't cost unless I just want to drop reading manga altogether.

There is a difference between reading mamga THAT IS NOT LICENCED here and manga THAT HAS BEEN LICENSED IN ENGLISH here.....is it that hard to understand. Yes, I have red many mangas on this site, but when they get licensed, I go and buy the licensed version....
I mean I read manga here because most BL manga aren’t licensed in English but when I have the chance and money I try to help the author by getting some of their merch or sometimes get the original physical copy or at least the digital copy just to help the author.
Don't say "Oh, it finally updated." ...It's more like. "Oh, someone decided to play "the hero" and steal manga from legal manga sites, when the whole manga costs only 2$." This decrees the profit the site and authors get --> less trust from the Japanese companies to work with English companies, less licensed works..... Let's praise "the hero" for being a shithead and doing this.
