If I remember correctly, he was supposed to find the man who killed his partner. If he finds him, he doesn’t have to do the jail time and the only leads he has was that the criminal had done military time and had a burn scar.

Actually he is trying to find some terrorist boss who is hiding in that prison, and if he finds him he will be released from the prison. Nothing about his partner killer. XD
