Love this but still

Nonami doesn't cheat, but I never can understand the legitimate reasoning of confessing to someone you so deeply love and then turn around and sleep with someone else in virtually no time. In a situation like this how is doc suppose to feel, especially when Nomani reasons that sleeping with multiple woman is for Doc's safety as yakuza target? Where I have issue with is, does Doc just feel grateful and completely ignores that when he returns Nomani's feelings it will be with the knowledge not even 24 hours ago Nomani was physically intimate with someone else? You can entirely of course separate sex and love hence open relationships, fwb, or even casual hookups. It's mainly the importance of sex in yaoi that makes this separation muddled for me. In yaoi the characters barely say I love you before they consummate their love, so the physical action of sex often times bares more weight than the actual declaration of love. Heck that's why yaoi rape literally is used often to stand in for expressing a character's love for the other. That's why I feel so uneasy when either character sleeping around right after a confession or the knowledge of their feelings being known. It's mainly because they can pass this info and still hold the power in the dynamics of this relationship. Usually it's the person responding to this confession, that holds the cards, but they don't here. Their burdened with this new knowledge now while the previous bearer just does whatever they want and is now the one chased after. Like it's more I had to get this off my chest and I'm good now just going to go fuck someone who's not you, rather then I had to get this off my chest because it was emotionally hurting me. I don't know why but personally it cheapens the confession and especially your resolve to love that individual if you can't even give them time to come to grips with those feelings. It's entirely different if those feelings are refused and two never end up together, but that's not yaoi logic, as the two mc's always have to end up together.e.Even if it's a extensive amount of time, then fair enough that's how real llife works. But because Nomani and doc have sex so quickly since the incident, it devalues Nomani's desire to be solely committed to the other person. Granted people have sex to get over people, I understand that too, but the point of having sex in that situation is precisely to devalue the importance that person has on you emotionally by using a surrogate.This is all solely my opinion of course in this interpretation. I know Nomani is a yakuza so what do I know about the morality and reasoning of his actions, however it's very in character with how I'd expect a man like him. Thought it gives me pause to think that he could very easily cheat on Uzuki in the future for the 'sake of' Uzuki's safety once more or if something were to come between them Nomani would see to resolve it through physical intimacy with someone else. I mean they could come to an arrangement but with Uzuki's personality he'd likely say nothing to keep the peace even should it hurt him. Especially with what I've seen other's commentators have pointed out in Japan's patriarchal society and views on sex/love between men and women, Nomani seems very capable of this.
