Lol I thought I was the only one getting uncomfortable when the uncle complimented Bum and said how he looks like his ex-girlfriend, Bum's mother.

In one panel, we saw him treating Bum's wound and Bum being happy, even though it was the uncle himself who did it.
Their relationship heavily resembles Bum and Sangwoo's one except Bum loved his uncle as a family member while he loves/d Sangwoo as a love interest.
Yet both hurt him, but he's happy when being treated nice no matter what they did.

I think that's because he lost his job and started to drink and became violent as we often see him drunk. He started to see Bum's mother in Bum mutch later, when he wasn't a minor anymore. I'm not really sure about that, I should check the old characters.

There's still a possibility those with the caring Uncle are just fake memories, or maybe abuse and happy moments cohexisted like it is happening with Sangwoo. Sangwoo and the Uncle have a lot of similarities in their relationship with Bum

I thought it was pretty clear that his uncle was in love and obsessed with Bum's mother. She rejected him and she choose his brother. I think at first there was an healthy relationship even if Bum resembled his mother but then Bum grew and his uncle would start to identify him with that woman

Actually I think the same as you. Maybe Bum’s just mixing memories togheter. I have this feeling that his mind created a “fake reality” to justify somehow all the atrocities he’s been through, first of all sexual abuse. There is no doubt that the sick relationship he had with his uncle affected him to the point that he fell in love with a sociopath like Sanwoo. Well we need to wait and see I guess....

I reckon that what Bums uncle said was true, about him getting aroused and stuff, it's possible to feel aroused even when it's something you don't want, because nerves and stuff. Maybe Bum saw some truth in what he said and felt guilty, maybe he didn't express his distaste for it with words because he was so confused about what was happening. Normally when children are sexually abused, they really don't understand what it is and how to explain it. Of course, if Bum did feel aroused, that doesn't change the fact that his uncle is a sick creep and I hope he's getting butt raped by Satan in hell. xox

I think the uncle was talking bs.
We're talking about the guy who imagined his ex girlfriend in Bum and said that Bum always said no, but "liked it". That's basic Rapist logic. No means to them that the person who they rape actually likes it.Which is not the case.

Bum said that the uncle made him drink once, so maybe Bum lost all control over his body there and felt unfortunately aroused. That's just how the body works, so it's not that he wanted it, of course.
