okay so daniel ran away and he ends up with this homeless dude, who ends up taking advantage of him and stealing his stuff. then he meets these gang of teenagers who want to take that homeless guy down bc he has also stolen from them. but when they make a plan and execute it daniel feels sympathy and later realizes that this homeless dude was seperated from his daughter due to money problems but he still very much loves her. his dream is to gather enough money to attend her wedding (in korea parents how to pay a sum of money when their kids get married) and so this arc ends with him and daniel attending the wedding. its super sweet tho bc he shows up and pays the money but he hides toward the back of crowd. daniel asks 'are you sure this is all you want to do?' and the man confesses that he thinks his daughter probably hates him and is embarassed of his financial situation, but then the crowd parts and his daughter sees him. the man tries to hide but his daughter goes like 'dad? why did you show up now?' and runs and hugs him and he cries and she cries and its just really sweet :)

anyway

so back when the gang of teens tries to attack this homeless dude daniel finally toughens up and fights back. he realizes he doesnt want to run away anymore and comes back home to his mom. when he checks his phone however he sees on insta that zoe posted pics of her with logan and they look like a couple. he feels betrayed but than crystal (in her pretty body) shows up and slaps him. she says that zoe has only been pretending to be logan's girlfriend so that he doesnt beat daniel up anymore, and then daniel snaps and fucking fights logan lmao its so badass like of course he gets beat up and logan keeps kicking/punching the shit outta him but he persists which i think shows a lot of character growth. also!!! i think its an interesting parallel to jiho in prison!

Nope. A victim standing up to their bullies is more clichéd bs. It has nothing to do with character growth. It just proves that bullies are never responsible for their actions. T.
