Mr Bai is Guan Shan work colleague, another teacher, and apparently an old friend from college too. He first appeared in chapter 4 asking Guan Shan to replace him in the overseas trip with the students because his girlfriend wanted him to meet her parents ( because she was pressuring him to get married).
It seems Mr Bai is having a breakdown of sorts now that he is being forced into making a decision between coming out and break the engagement or get married and probably stay in the closet forever.
So Mr Bai is gay as well?
Yes, that's what that phone call to Guan Shan was about in the previous chapter.

And I would love to read all projects that translator uploaded on Mangadex cause that's where they prefered to....but please, I always have trouble accessing mangadex from my device...it's really frustrating!
