No, this how the chapters were published, they have been short but 3 pages is ridiculous.
I might be wrong but i believe the manga was adapted from a novel so that might explain the seemingly short chapters
Also, I know the mangaka had a baby while this was going on so maybe the publishers cut her some slack and let her keep her contractual obligations ('cos she technically submitted something for the magazine) but gave her a (much) lighter workload. Depends on when these chapters were first released though.
I get short chapters, I get she had problem.. But TWO PAGES!! Guys, why bother if you can't draw that month??
I say this because if you read on the magazing cover "Deadlock new chapter", buy the magazine and are excited to read a new chapter after paying 600 yen and find 2 plot useless pages... I guess you can be pretty much disappointed.
...I mean, chapter 25 is 3 pages long. THREE PAGES! TWO, if you consider that one is for the title! What the hell is wrong with this mangaka, I wouldn't even bother with 3 pages, just jump to the next month publishing!
