I'm grateful for the translators to do all the cleaning and translation for us but honestly, I can't deny the fact that the mistranslations changed the purpose and the meaning of this manga a lot. I bought an official translation version of this manga in my language and compare to this version here, this one is so messed up. It makes you unable to know what the characters actually think nor what the situations actually are and that is such a waste for a great manga like this that the mangaka really gave a lot thought into the plot.

A story isn't the same if you can't understand it. I agree with you completely. I always appreciate the hard work that goes into translating a manga, but if it is done half way it is a waste if readers can't understand what is written. A waste of effort by the translators, a waste of effort by the typesetters and worse, a waste of the mangaka's efforts in writing it. A good proofreader is all you need. Someone who knows what the characters are trying to say and can properly put that sentiment into the translated language accurately.
