I think it wouldn't work because Kaoru and Yuka love each and just because they're fated pair doesn't mean they would be happy. Also after what Taiga did to Yuka in high school, I don't think their relationship would have been smooth.
Kinda just wanted them all to go with their fated pairs because I actually think they both would of worked and would of been quite a twist
