I guess that guy was pathetic scum as you describe him, but he is trying to change. Well, there are lots of people out there who hate other people on various reasons that doesn't make sense when you actually think about it. I try not to hate them, since that would make me as one of them, so... ;)
I don't think idol is a dick, though. He just doesn't know how to express his feelings, and this is causing tension. It's kinda funny to watch them bicker over such small things, when it could be easier to just come out and say it.

The MC is the worst types of people. I'm sorry but if you spend your life hating on an idol, especially for something that's not bad such as being gay, you're pathetic scum.
I don't feel bad for him and the way that the author is trying to make the idol look like a dick leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
It doesn't matter what the antifans reasoning is, it's still disgusting and wrong. If you don't like someone, you're fine to, but making anti sites and bullying is where the line draws.
