No, the manga is not abandoned, Volume 2 just released in Japan on 22/08 and the team that translated had warned that it would wait for the release of the volume to translate the whole volume at once, and not chapter after chapter because the chapters published in the magazine and the chapters in the volume change. Now that Volume 2 is out, the team that translates it will start work probably. So we have to just wait! (⌒▽⌒)
