In my experience it's not mental instability that causes rape so please don't blame it on ableism. Thanks. I thought the back story was already explained?
Of course mental instability or psychological disorders is not causative of rape. There are various factors that affect a person’s decision to rape. I am not promoting ableism. I don’t like labels nor assuming someone is intrinsically flawed because they have a specific condition. I was just pointing out my initial impression of Kai, which I am still open to learn the reasons as to his axns.
I guess I should’ve said the development instead of backstory of Kai and Minami because obviously this manga is going to center around the two and what drives Kai’s actions toward Minami (eg. why he blackmails Minami for rape or acts abusive toward him). My guess (because I did not read the whole manga since it’s still being scanlated), is something in the past happened to Kai that made him seem unstable just like something happened with Yule in An Easy Target to make him subject Kyung-soo to such...abuse.
I can sense there’s going to be blackmail rape for Minami and Kai is going to be a sadistic, manipulative, fucking abusive rapist...but obviously there’s going to be a backstory between Minami and Kai. I have a feeling how it will end, but this manga has one of my favorite dick redrawers, refrigerator. I read through An Easy Target/Hogu Hagyeongsu, so... I’ll stay for this; but I don’t think my opinion of Kai will change — he’s like this (ʘ ᴗʘ)っ, unstable or something, taking it out on Minami...
