I'm glad I read your comment. I was thinking he showered and went to his boyfriends house, bringing along the food Shou bought him. Was really upset but it makes more sense that it's a flashback.

Lol I’m glad to make it clear that it’s a flashback. I knew it was a flashback instantly because he looked so innocent and the current person is so cold and in that flashback, he looked excited to see his boyfriend which probably conclude with the boyfriend in bed with someone else and the small dialogue “I was told” frequently made it seem it was in the past. I wished the author made clear of the fact that it was a flashback but it is what it is ╮(￣▽￣)╭
