..my japanese is only around JLPT level 4, and well.. in yaoi they use words and kanji that I'm sure they won't be teaching at school lololol! (But my point was that I think trying to help with translating would be fun.. some day) ( ̄∇ ̄")

    Just learn them while reading. If you dont know kanji draw them in google translate. You might not get the correct meaning, but remember how its read (romaji) or u can even click on that button so they read it. Little by little you will come to understand. If you really want to.

    I learned kanji faster than hiragana & katakana Maybe because I've learned Mandarin for ages

    Maybe because of that, but maybe also because kanji actually make sense X'D I find kanji easier than kana.... XD

    For me there's no problem with hiragana or katakana.... but kanji is my worst enemyXD even if I would know the meaning of kanji, I might not remember its kunyomi OR onyomi... and vice versa ( ̄∇ ̄") gosh..
