Sangwoo thought that Bum secretly wanted to kill ppl, that's one of the reasons he made him kill Jien, but Yoon didn't enjoy it, so Sangwoo was wrong.
Bum currently being so delusional is because of Sangwoo's actios and the uncle, his old abuser, being dead.
I don't think he's dead btw, we still need to know more about his past.

Not a killer per say but a troubled comrade with something dark festering deep inside. Sangwoo wants someone to understand and accept his killer tendencies. Someone to alleviate his pain and help. But I agree that he lets Bum so long live because he reminds him of his mother and that's why Sangwoo wants him to be a murderous Killer as well so long hat he stays with him.

Knowing Koogi, I wouldn't rule it out, but I'm hoping it's something else, we still have the cop's vengeance boner for Sangwoo in play at this stage in the game and it'd be kinda anti-climactic if that just went nowhere and there was never any sort of clash between them.
Well...I don't know why people think Bum is some innocent lost lamb. He's never been right and Sangwoo knew from the start. That's why he's kept him all this time. Now I am confused with Sangwoo's disappear, what did he see that night, is his uncle truly dead? Bruh, if Sangwoo has been dead all this time I'm going to flip out.
