thank you for your response! i was scared i'd get downvoted to hell because this seemed like quite an unpopular opinion to me while i was scrolling through the comments but some people's responses to this chapter just made my blood boil and i ended up saying screw it, i have to say something about this!

idk why the fuck y'all are hating on hyesung when it's been explicitly stated several times that he didn't want to raise the baby and only had it because of the contract with dojin
and don't even compare hyesung's case to his mothers, his mother left him with his shitty father when he was already five years old, old enough to understand what the loss of a parent feels like while his own baby is just an infant who still has an amazing dad on his side
hyesung thinks he's not capable of taking care of a child and knows that dojin will love and take care of the baby well so he has no problem leaving the baby in his hands
a toxic or uncapable parent raising a child can be more hurtful and emotionally damaging to child than them leaving before the child starts to grow up, and hyesung of all people knows that the best
also, the reason why hyesung didn't want to look at the baby is because he was scared he'd feel attached to it and so leaving dojin and the baby would have been hard
