I think he felt guilt about Byung (which I'm like Yohan pls boi don't T T) and I think Yohan let the thing between him and Soo hwa happen at first to b/c he was afraid of him ending up like Byung but Soo hwa is actually a nice person T T
So I'm thinking that despite everything being Byung's fauilt, Yohan still feels guilty somehow, which is why, I think, crazy thought, Yohan let the thing with Soohaw happen, the whole jerking off a buddy deal, they didn't expect it to escalate and Yohan probably didn't expect Soohwa to be such a nice person or to end up liking him, but maybe his intent at first was not to let Soohwa become like Byung. Idk crazy ramble here.
