Idk why him looking like a psycho throws you off when he literally is a psycho. His obsession tha tyou find "cute" is just further proof of that. Picture this: your friend's sibling started coming on to you this strong and even started destroying your relationship with others & sending those close to you to the hospital. You know what that sounds like? A fucking psychopath.
skrrr dont @ me. if this was any other character you would have seen it as cute. this is the past, before he went on that 'path' no one knew he was gonna put people in the hospital because of his feelings.
if this was a scene between the two main characters you would have looked at it as him being possessive and not wanting anyone else to get in between their relationship
Because of the way he was drawn and the story we are given in the future he is looked at as psycho not as the 'cute' main character not knowing how to act because of his feelings.

Seems like I can't convince you otherwise & i don't see what you're getting defensive for so i won't try to change your mind; however, even if he was the MC I wouldn't see it as cute. If he was the MC I'd still view him as an obsessed psycho rather than just possessive. If you like fucked up semes I suggest Color Recipe if you haven't already read it. It's a great manga but I still hated how manipulative the seme was. Please don't @ me with attitude again :)
