Nah I think so too, he did love her enough to bear a son of their love but from the first chapter it seems she was a Gypsy (not of royal blood) but who'd wanna be of royal blood when all of them behave like the worse kinds of scums of the earth
maybe the reason why anton’s dad likes arwin so much is because he looks like his mother and maybe they had some type of relationship? idk. i’m could be wrong. ignore me.
