That wasn't a waiter it was thugs who invaded their restaurant and destroyed it. His father attacked the men because they ruined his families livelihood and scared them. Mo is just a tsundere. They always freak out when their love interest touches, gets close, or flirts with them. Most of Mo's behavior with He Tian is basically him being a tsundere.
