no, the parents are too ignorance! and until they stop stick to their dumb ignorance and open up to the idea that yeas, it is natural to be gay and not a fucking disease they need cure, there is nothing to talk about with them or middle ground. if they can't do that, they will lose him.
not everyone in the world were raised to believe that being gay is natural, and since this is a chinese comics it is based on Chinese culture and their society. sadly, China is very ignorant about lgbt community and they concider it an abnormality, especially since they program their kids into being successful at getting good jobs and raising their own ''perfect'' families. so the parents were obviously raised that way that doesn't make them bad for something that was programmed into them. i am by no means defending their treatment to their son but trying to see the situation from their perspective and also YangYang. this is why they BOTH need to sit down and TALK about it in a civil open minded way. any other way would be selfish and ignorant and would solve shit.
it is one thing to be "program" by your parents to be something, yeas it also axist in a very close socity's that are very religios. and there is a thing called a modern era that yeas they need to get used and know better about the world around him.
if they don't believe a doctor that he is fine and normal, then yeas they have a problam they need to fix between themselves. their son is not the one who should fix them, they are.
and every parent want a perfect family, all over the world and not only in china. it's nothing new XD but there is no such thing has perfect, that something all family's need to get.

Fucking hell, I was not ready for this heavy chapter. The parents need to sit down and think about how their son feels and have a healthy discussion with him. Both parties need to understand where the other is coming from and find a middle ground. Also the aunt and her son shoukd back the fuck off.
