Alpha's go into a Rut. It is a type of heat and they need to mate. The "RUT' is natural to them but, can be brought on by an Omega's heat as well.

Wait! So Michirun's parents are both omega? I would love to read a story like that! I kind of thought that his dad is alpha. The story would have to be without the sad ending though :D now that I think about it a story about omega male and alpha female would be also interesting! (If it's all based on mutual love and understanding, of course)
