No its actually quite common for most people to like the side characters better than the main cause this probz have happened to me more than 10times already and mostly the side characters are included because the author is trying figure out the main characters plot thru them.
Also the story name is “Someone else’s BL manga” so the focus isn’t on the MC but on the side characters
IMO they are the real main characters, I think the author was just trying to give the story a twist and make the story different.

Nah, it's actually a popular opinion. I actually feel really bad for the fake main lead because he's isolated himself from having close relationships after his terrible experience coming out to his family while the other two boys even with their relationship issues have always had each other. Now he feels he can only relate to an ephebophile that's slowly grooming him, it's sad and I wish I could jump into the story and be his friend. I like that the author is showing gay teens in different situations and with different mentalities when it comes to dealing with their sexuality though.
Is it wrong that I like the side character story(the two friends) more than the main characters' story inn general. Imean at first I was intrested but now I could give evn two shiz because of the lack of a backgound story that gave intrest and the fact that he has no character development/character plot. Also for the fact that he lacks some type of common sense
