As a former volleyball player, I can say that I can actually FEEL the pain and tiredness. When both teams are on a similar level, it’s always a lucky point that makes you win. While reading this I always get nervous since I vividly remember the thrill of who’s gonna do better to win that lucky point. Man, it’s awesome

ALWAYS there is no such thing as a planned winning point. Unless you have 100 percent control of your body (I was only a teenager when I played so In hindsight I could of improved that) the thing is.... it takes 6 to receive properly and return with a perfect “bump, set, spike”. And even while you are in control of your own body, it’s the over all team of the opponent that makes the attack, and the over all team on your side of the net to counter, and a play will rarely go straight for a point. Especially for a winning one when you are worn to the bone and both sides are desperate to keep the other from scoring

Lol one time I was so desperate I ran up the stands into the bleachers and retrieved the ball and scored a point from behind me.... the opponent wasn’t ready for a lucky shot like that.... awww to be young again now I’m 25 and a single bump makes my arms bruise now :(
