agreed. I get off rape yaoi everyday, and when the rape isn't really made into a big deal in mangas, you just kinda end up not caring and still liking the story, but poor kid is clearly saying no, feeling traumatized, and the art and comedy is kinda not consistant with the way the uke felt. I mean, it would have passed if it went for the "my mind says no, but ma booody saaays.. yessss" route, but the uke is truly fearing the seme... It isn't romanticizing it at all, which makes me wonder how the heck am I supposed to like the couple where the rape is taken seriously, yet the story is still light hearted?
The art was nice, but that doesn't excuse the fact that Im sitting here confused as hell. I actually couldn't finish that shit show. It's crazy, because most yaoi mangas will have rape and ignore it, but this manga pointed out the rape, made it very clear it was wrong... and then just.. justified it? I don't... think I fully understand how bad this is.
