Yeah I reread chapter 20 and it wasn't obvious he died at all. i thought he was in a coma or some undead equivalent. His injuries didn't seem that bad...what kind of weak ass vampire is he? Also, he didn't have the brand on his neck in the country scene even though he whined about being hungry the last 3 day without mariam, what is up with that?
