I usually agree with that in many stories but not for this one.
They got separated for 2 years but their feelings never changed and they never forgot each other, add to that the fact that everything that was holding them back disappeared as they're now coworkers, it's normal they didn't want to waste any more time, they already wasted 2 years for nothing.
Looking at them crushing on each other without acting on it and waste MORE time would have been annoying to me. Honestly it was the best way to do it without dragging things out.
Well we all have our opinion and way to see things in the end.
I understand,but im just probs frustrated on why they just didnt get together in the first place although its evident they care about each other,i always find the plot when one character get scared or doubt themselves and only when time passes do they realize the extent of their feelings frustrating but to each their own i guess

I think the childhood friend and Yuno thought it was for the "best". All for Itsuki's sake because he truly wished to change and working so hard towards this goal.
I think Yuno was shocked by how possessive he could get and how he felt so partial towards a listener when normally, he's a good guy and is more sincere with his intentions. Wishing them well, congratulating them on their achievements, and being happy to know they actually have friends. There's also the issue that Itsuki's a minor. That's already a big issue on its own.
And then Takuma noticed Yuno taking a few steps back and how this is affecting Itsuki. He believed he was protecting Itsuki and its was for the best that they stop having direct connections with each other because Yuno's actions can affect Itsuki and inflict some permanent damage or keep Itsuki from changing OR SOMETHING. Idk, they're a bunch of overprotective men!
Anyway, Itsuki needed those 2 years of hiatus. He matured and improved because of those two years. And it's because of this growth that the people in his life let him make his own actions and decisions because they have faith in him. They know he won't break like how he was 2 years ago.
Plus, he's not a minor anymore, so he's fair game. Lol. Very safe and legal for Yuno.

Am i the only one frustrated with this manga??? I mean the story was good at first but how fast they got together after not contacting each other for 2 YEARSS is just turning this off for me,,they couldve make it a bit longer before they actually got together
