Im guessing the author doesn't want to venture too far from their culture. Though as a reader,I think they should adapt and respect other people culture. But meh, ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ Onna31
Well considering that it is a whole different world they could just make up their own brand new culture. I dont think they have to adhere to the culture and customs unless they specifically say a real life country. Or at least that's what I think.
