But, like, there is a manga based on a novel where the protagonist does have a harem in both the novel and the manga, but he doesn't have any interest on those girls in the manga, really just partnership. Just in the novel he is like an old perv.
I wish they will at least change that..like, Rudeus only loving his teacher or something even if he has his own harem.
But....the protago is a big perv so...not much hope here.

I know fan service is common for this type of manga, but it is going to turn bad if it goes along with the novel. I stopped reading it a long time ago tho.
