I don't think they're talking about the first an last pages but the colored ones. In other mangas there have been big discussions with this group where they have been very rude upon critics from fans.
When I see the colored pages I also think 'oh it's them again'

But we're not paying for this. The scans are free. This is their hobby. Why should they be polite to "fans" who criticize their work even though they don't contribute anything to the production of the scans? It would be understandable if the complaints here were about the actual translations (I've read some scans that looked like they used Google translator) or the quality, but they're about trifling stuff, like color pages and redrawn dicks. And while the OP is correct--if you don't like the way a scan group present its work, don't read it--why deny yourself good stories?

Anyway, I'm off to read more free stuff.

The way you're talking makes me think you're one of the elements of this group because they all use the same argument and 'sound' exactly the same.
Everyone that comes here knows that this is free, that this is illegal, that other people make time to translate and correct pages and yes, we are grateful.
What we - at least I - don't appreciate is the way this group has responded to their 'fans', we also comment - good or bad - on other groups translations and I have never read discussions and arguments like with this group.
I personally don't like the colored pages. They are not part of the original manga, they cut the flow of the story. I have suggested to put them in the end like some kind of bonus pages...
And the argument that you/they all make back is 'if you don't like it don't read it, no one is making you read it' - obviously - I like the manga, and I'll read the manga, but I'd much more rather read the original, not the freaking colored pages that no one asked for, and
the 2nd argument: 'we work so hard and you don't appreciate this free manga that we gave you' like some kind of god that I should venerate.

I've seen the discussions too, I don't think the group was rude to "critics." They just called out readers that called things "shit" and some anonymous person who I think is above started calling people "retards" and "autistic" because they said they liked the coloured pages. So tell both sides of the story, not just what you want people to see.

Lol, no. I'm not part of any scan group. I wish I knew Japanese, but I took Spanish in school--and that's mostly gone now. And I'm not saying that if you don't like it, don't read it. I was just restating what the OP said. My point is that it's free, so just enjoy it for what it is: someone's labor of love made available to the rest of us without cost.

We can chose to make our scans private and you will have to contact us to read it but since we have such a big hearts this is what we get lol.

Wao this exploded, I just wish I could block them cause I really don't even want to read their projects based on their whole attitude. That's all I meant, I personally don't like reading anything from them based on my experience. I don't want to even give them views on their projects.
I dislike the way they do their scans with your coloring (subpar and very randomly) and the way they act and I wish I could just avoid everything from them. That's personal preference.
