but no one is taking his situation lightly though, i mean for sure with all certainty, all of us here want to protect him and murder the crap out of that sickly rapist. but case in point, his breakup was something of another sort.. slightly. yes, he's traumatized (i mean who wouldn't) but it's not wrong to say that he handled the break-up situation poorly.
the boyfriend reacted like that possibly because he was overwhelmed by the revelation (and not really that he won't accept him anymore). i mean i would think that any person would be unsettled upon hearing the unfortunate news, and in this case, his boyfriend's response is no exception.
anyway, i feel that it's not always necessarily "victim-blaming" but rather specifically "relationship-handling"? they both need space, time to cool off after that, since right now (or then) they're not in any right state of mind to talk properly. in what had just happened, it took a dive for even worse, and they both got hurt even much more.
i do understand your points though, if i were in either of their shoes, i don't know how i would really respond, maybe not even rationally (for understandable reasons). we can only hope we get some real justice for him and that this situation of theirs will get wrapped soon and happily so.

i feel bad that he got his heart broken but the main victim is youngmin. HE is the one who was raped. HE is the one that had rumors spread about him.
the fact that i’m seeing constant youngmin blame for how he handled the situation is upsetting. but go off, i guess victim blaming is cool.
