okay i HATE this phrase so much. i don't care what the age of consent is, 13 is still a minor!! you cannot justify someone's actions because of this phrase. not even talking about this webtoon rn but just in ge... redvelvet

You hating this phrase just shows how much your believes were shaped by the society that has different norms. Just from objective point of view, why do you think is it wrong? Starting from 13 years kids already feel sexual attraction towards others. So why should we try to control them? On the other hand, scientists say that brain maturity can continue until the age of 25. Should we wait till then now? Just because you were born in a country where 18 is the age of consent, doesn't automatically mean it is right. I don't know what is, to be honest, but for me the most important part is consent that derives from full understanding of what is happening, not just a simple "yes".
