not a good enough reason for altering a main character's appearance, and the thing about how time has passed doesn't make sense in any way whatsoever.

It's he looked in the prequel so this "new" hairstyle is actually his original hairstyle. And hes definitely older now. Everyone including juda seems to know about his infertility

You felt the need to fill me in on the Pendulum thing as if I didn't know? Anyway, I can drive a truck through your logic. Julio isn't "definitely older" than he was back when the two of them were the same age when they were kids. The other characters didn't age. Will looks to be the same age as he was in ch9. None of the Beasts changed, and Lord Toneria should be a decrepit doddering codger since he was already old in chapter 1-9. When Daato has already had the children, he looks as fresh and young as he did in ch 1-9 with only a touch of advanced maturity.
People appear to believe that they are defending Daath from me when in fact I'm the one defending him.
One of my main arguments is that there's as many, if not more, bad reasons to revert his appearance as there are good, loss of consistence is just one.
In pendulum, Daato was an unappealing antagonist. His personality sucked. When he gets his own story, he's as entitled to retain his chapter 1-9 beauty as he is to become one of the good guys. For that reason, my opinion is that Hasumi Hana should have let the old Daato stay in the Pendulum's past.
On your second point: If you read chapter 10, Daato stated at the beginning that he has been keeping his infertility from Juda. When it comes to pregnancy, you know or you don't know. There's no "seems to know."
I don't remember it being stated that ten years has passed. Can you please tell me where you saw that?
