i agree
i hate that his life must revolve around someone, likehe should focus on himself and improve himself

You're not the only one. Its so damn cliche for everybody to want him to have another love interest. Its just going to be painfully obvious that DG isn't moving on even when enjoying his time with the new love interest plus we already know they're going to end up together so the new love interest route is so very unnecessary.

Yeah...other reason for me not wanting this route is that i always get hit hard with second lead syndrome lmao, since they tend to be nicer than the main one...it would be cool to see other reasons for jiwon to chase after dg and wanting to know him better...dg making friends, getting other interests...

Completely agree. Why does he need a partner in order to grow, that comes from self development rather than being linked to a filler character, that will likely be a charming match, but will end up being dumped and thrown way as soon as the MC realises they can't live without their original love. DG needs to be his own man, get on with his degree coursework, do his job, make friends and demonstrate self-care seeing as previously he wasn't sleeping well. Jiwon and DG will ultimately end up together, the plot should focus more on those two being more communicative, insightful and starting a relationship where they both see each other as equals and are able to trust.
I feel like I'm the only person that doesn't want DG to find someone else. I feel that he should just go on about his life. Go to college, make friends, enjoy just being DG and work on himself. I feel like another love interest wouldn't be necessary and I find it cliché. Him playing hard to get back, due to having his heart broken and growing from that life lesson will be more interesting than him dating someone else and Jiwon getting jealous (we already seen Jiwon get jealous of MD)
