the author did actually state once that people think about it a little too much.
she said that it wasn't THAT deep as they think.
i have no idea what her intentions are, but it's not some fight club thing or so

i honestly wish it was that deep.... and (ppl might attack me on this but) the last few chapters just give me the feel that the author is dragging the story out just for the sake of making chapters... like anon said above if its true that it isnt as deep as we think then the author is basically just putting out fucked up chapters bc hey its supposed to be a fucked up manhwa. these are just my thoughts though and i really hope i’m going to be proven wrong
Girl I have feelings about these two last chapters....... I tried to write down at least part of my thoughts a few times but there is so much that we don't know as of yet that I don't want to make false assumptions. And maybe I'm on the wrong track... but the image of women that is portrayed here, that cheating is part of the big reveal.. that it's kind of made out to be just as bad as physical abuse.. the evil witch trope... for now it all leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. I just have the hope that it's all part of a grand scheme. I hope that everything we see is from Sangwoo's point of view.. that Sangwoo has this anger towards the injustice that his mother brought upon him... because he was helplessly subjected to his mom's mental illness which he couldn't understand.. that he sees her as this evil witch and that he imagined her to get beaten up by his dad because of the unbearable anger that he feels towards her. This is what I wish for. I hope this is the complexity the manwha will reveal. Because I still can't make out if this story is really supposed to be "this" deep.. If there is nothing more to come and the "evil mom" is part of the "real truth" as told by the omniscient narrator then it's all pretty shallow... Anyone else who thinks the last two chapters were a let down? Your thoughts?
