I always look forward to reading this story. It is such a beautiful portrayal of loving those around you for "who" they are and not "what" they are. Today, labels seem far too important and a person's character, and the many facets of it, are so often overlooked. To me, labels are a way to prejudge people and I hate them. I want to be seen for my character and I want to see others for theirs. This entire series is all about that and I love it. It also makes the smexy scenes that much hotter because the reader, or at least this reader, feels like they really know the people involved and can relate to those intimate feelings. Seeing any random 2D character have sex is like looking at an anatomy book to me. But, if I feel a connection to the characters, the whole scene becomes incredibly hot. I guess 2D sex is like real sex for me. I have to be somewhat invested or it just feels ho-hum.
Totally. That's me too. I love feeling that there is real connection between yaoi couples, and even the occasional *fap fest* , if there's a good story and characterization, can become illuminating and human. This one though gets my love for just Masaki alone. (Okay...Hikun too!) What a well structured characterization.
That sex scene was awesome. Just awesome. Nice to remember that the boys are adults. Most people As a writer, I thrive on characters and characterizations, and this makes me so damn happy because Sensei delivers in spades.

Seriously. ..I have read at least five yaois today and this one moment between them is the only one that has made me feel delighted and more than a little bothered. :)
