I actually dropped this because of the double penetration scene (it was too close to actual rape) but I came back to skip through this chapter thinking that maybe they finally had sex that was fun for both and I agree with you, Alex didn't rape him. However, I wasn't able to read the entire chapter because all I saw was an abusive relationship.
And it's not just this chapter. I tried to read some of the previous chapters but I couldn't because all I saw was emotional abuse.
There are many stories like this out there but they're usually quite unrealistic which is why they don't affect me. But this one portrays emotional damaging relationships in such a realistic way that was almost impossible for me to read it.
I mean DG didn't have sex with Alex because he was horny. Alex pressured him into having sex and DG agreed, hoping that Alex would leave him alone afterwards. The fact that he got turned on doesn't matter at all. He has sex with the person he loves, of course he's physically turned on but that doesn't mean that he's enjoying it. He couldn't even look at Alex because this situation was too much for him.
1. Alex did rape him before when he was jealous, read that scene again and see that DG NEVER ever agree or enjoy that shit!
2. this scene DG clearly just wanted it to be OVER, cause let's be honest, Alex is an asshole and he does not want to be abuse or be treated like a slave and of course be hurt.
3. he agree to this shit cause Alex kind of did a dirty trick by saying "I forgive you if you have sex with me" - what can be called blackmail in a way. and sex that happen from blackmail is never consented.
so really stop with the bullshit consented, cause this does not it at all!!
I totally get what you mean, I absolutely freaked the fuck out during that scene and made me hate Alex as a character, he totally has no right to be jealous and act on his jealousy, they were just fuck buddies. I did intend on dropping it, too, but my curiosity got the best of me and here I am still reading it not because I'm supporting this abusive relationship but more im just curious how the author is gonna end this madness, but hey, at least DG is finally behaving like we hoped to.
about the second part of your comment: Im not trying to justify Alex's behaviour of pressuring DG to have sex with him, but I see it as a ''goodbye, let's never meet again'' type of sex. this entire situation is just so stupid and overly complicated, with DG being an idiot in love and Alex an asshole that doesn't want to get over his past. they both need to chill. let's just hope at some point they'll have a serious discussion and DG to confront Alex about all the shit he has done to him, including the rape situation, but knowing DG he already considers it his fault.
1. If you're talking about the scene from when Alex got jealous because of MD, then yes I do agree it was rape and I even commented on it and showed my displease with it.
2. Yes, DG made it obvious that he wanted it to be over, mainly cos he still has feelings for Alex -which he probably does not return- and doesn't want to show them, hence why he didn't want to face him because DG is the easy to read type. Eventually, DG got overwhelmed with the situation and wished it to be over soon, does not mean he was getting raped by Alex.
3. He did agree to having sex with Alex, because he wanted to agree to it. DG is not a baby, he can make his own decisions, if he didn't want to he could've said to Alex to shove his ''forgiveness'' up his ass since DG already apologized properly to him and Alex did not threaten his life or kidnap or something. He agreed because he wanted to get over Alex once and for all, as one last fuck and then throw his feelings away and move on. Alex on the other hand kinda used the ''have sex with me one last time and I'll forgive you'' because he wanted some kind of a reaction from DG, and you can clearly see him getting surprised when DG agreed to go with him, maybe he didn't want DG to get rid of his feelings for him. it was not rape, just a displeasing situation that could've been solved better if they used their words.
Look, I'm one of those who freak out when they see rape and throw a tantrum, but this isn't rape; they both consented to this from beginning to end, I agree the atmosphere of the scene was a bit unsettling since DG was just laying there and muting his moans, which made it seem to some as if he isn't enjoying it, which is wrong, he just doesn't want to show his feelings during the session in fear of another rejection and him wanting to move on.
